Our story
The story behind the MAIN FLOW logo
The river in the MAIN FLOW logo is a nod to the River Main and our founding team’s strong roots in the Frankfurt region. It reflects our original mission: facilitating the flow of liquidity across monetary and financial markets and, more broadly, supporting trade and the exchange of knowledge, expertise and culture.
Rivers have long served as natural trade networks, using water’s carrying capacity to move goods efficiently and connect communities and markets. The Main helped Frankfurt develop into a trading city at the heart of Europe. As a B2B and B2G firm, MAIN FLOW draws on that same idea of connection: building bridges between markets and helping financial liquidity flow where it is needed.
Our founding team has strong ties to Frankfurt and the wider Rhine-Main region, home to one of continental Europe’s leading financial centres. Frankfurt and Ho Chi Minh City have maintained official city ties since 2019, while Vietnam Airlines connects the two cities with several direct flights each week.
Ho Chi Minh City, meanwhile, is Vietnam’s economic and commercial hub and home to its largest stock exchange. The Vietnam International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City, officially launched in February 2026, marks a further step in its development. The initiative aims to connect international capital with Vietnam’s economy, supporting businesses, infrastructure and industrial development.
We see an opportunity to bring these strengths closer together: Frankfurt’s financial expertise and international networks, and Vietnam’s talent, manufacturing capabilities and growing economy. Supporting those connections means facilitating both the movement of capital and the exchange of knowledge and experience.
Our bridge-and-river logo therefore pays homage to the Main, the river that helped shape Frankfurt and the surrounding region. It expresses what we want MAIN FLOW to enable: connections through which capital, trade and ideas can flow.
We look forward to contributing to closer ties between Frankfurt and Ho Chi Minh City, while supporting trade and the flow of knowledge and capital across borders for mutual benefit.
