A meeting point for finance, industry and trade

Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam’s principal commercial hub and home to the country’s largest stock exchange. Its businesses, financial institutions and industrial capabilities make it an important point of connection between Vietnam’s economy and international markets.

The 2025 merger of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Ba Ria–Vung Tau brought southern Vietnam’s financial, industrial and logistics centres under one administration. It aims to better coordinate infrastructure and economic development, creating a more integrated hub connecting capital, industry and global shipping routes.

The Vietnam International Financial Center, operating across Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, aims to connect international capital with the financing needs of Vietnam’s businesses, infrastructure and wider economy.

Local roots. International experience.

Some members of MAIN FLOW’s founding team were born and raised in Ho Chi Minh City; others made the city their home more than a decade ago, bringing professional expertise and different cultural perspectives to contribute to its rapid development as an Asian commercial hub.

Over that time, core members of our team have helped develop pioneering fintech solutions in Vietnam and worked with domestic and international clients, gaining extensive practical experience of the country’s business landscape at the leading edge of financial markets development in the 21st century.

Together with our founding ties to Frankfurt and the wider Rhine-Main region, this background informs MAIN FLOW’s work with businesses and public-sector institutions: facilitating the flow of financial liquidity, supporting trade and encouraging the exchange of knowledge and expertise.

We approach these connections in both directions - helping international partners understand and engage with Vietnam, while supporting Vietnamese businesses and institutions in developing relationships and opportunities abroad.
